Outstanding first round after the long hiatus! You both did beautifully! Yall had an incredibly hard piece to use and you both pulled out amazing builds.

Anthony provided the most polished builds of this round but Cecilie had a wonderful variety of uses for the seed part.

Both builders are titans of their craft and were extremely well matched in quality, but Cecilie simply buried Anthony under a tsunami of well built entries.

If we were comparing the single best entry of each builder I think this contest would have been a straight tie, but as Stalin said, "Quantity has a quality all it's own"

With the allotted build time as short as 16 days, the competition has never been so fierce and its clear both builders performed valiantly in search of that coveted IB glory!

Unfortunately, life will choose the least desirable times to throw undue challenges upon us so we are nothing short of delighted to still see Anthony’s immense skill manifested in three stunning entries. His sand blue kitchen in particular went above and beyond, featuring multiple ingenious uses for the dynamite spread throughout a build of truly impressive scale & detail.

It is perhaps the charming and unpredictable variety that might best surmise Cecilie’s entries, each a startlingly new environment to spot the seed element in. Also exhibited is a good balance of exuberant and sparing seed part use, a dragon sporting many a TNT in contrast to an arcade with a well-placed few. And it is for these reasons we believe Cecilie should retain her reign of building prowess – at least until such time a new challenger rises in an attempt to snatch it from her!

All in all, this first round is without doubt a battle worthy of the IB days of old!
