Camera
Some subjects spend their lives wondering who is pulling the strings, while others simply choose a different point of view. This little camera had no interest in becoming anyone’s puppet—it preferred to stay behind the lens, where every identity could be brought into focus. After all, a disguise is only convincing until someone changes the exposure. Layers that once seemed immeasurable become surprisingly easy to frame, and an inflated sense of self-importance can look remarkably small from the right perspective. Even a Leviathan is only a big subject when you insist on shooting from the bottom. The strap may be attached, but the judgment is not. The shutter closes when it wants, the lens sees what it wants, and the self-timer is perfectly happy to wait for the subject to reveal itself. No puppeteer, no strings—just a camera patiently waiting for the right moment to capture the truth. Because when every layer is another frame, perhaps the real question isn’t who is pulling the strings, but who is still trying to stay in focus.
